ELM Insurance Brokers was founded in 1995 as an independent wholesale insurance brokerage. Our independence gives us a distinct advantage over many of our larger competitors. We are able to provide our agents with a broad, accurate and unbiased perspective of the insurance marketplace. ELM believes that what is in the best interest of the client is in the best interest of our company and our agents. We do not believe that Insureds all fit into a specific category or underwriting box, as many of our competitors do. ELM will take whatever steps are required in attempting to tailor the Insureds' coverage to fit their specific needs to the extent Insurers will allow.
In August, 2008, E.L.M. was acquired by Insurance Specialty Group and is now an ISG Company. Together with our Parent Company, we can now offer our Producers one stop shopping for all Lines of business. Our Commercial Casualty divisions can offer Construction related coverage and Commercial Package and umbrella coverage’s for almost any type of Business and in all States. This makes us a National Company.
